Candidate should have some type of gardening/horticulture experience, needs be active and fit, and like physical work – should be self motivated and able to follow direction. Must be able to drive. Own transportation is not necessary, though it would be a plus. Tools will be provided.
The spring season (April, May, June) includes a range of gardening tasks – evergreen pruning and shearing, appropriately timed planting of trees shrubs and perennial division and planting. Spring annuals are replace for summer displays. An over site of new installations, along side all the general maintenance concerns of a dozen projects makes for a busy season.
Most projects are within the district, work hours are flexible. Hourly compensation based on experience starting at $16 per.
